| Okay. Let's take them one by one. Double cream. You are allowed to have 2-3 tablespoons per day as part of your beverages. You can also have an additional 3 oz (6 tablespoons) as part of the "Special Category Foods". Creme fraiche. This is different from double cream. It is limited to 1 oz (or 2 tablepoons) per day and it is part of the "Special Category Foods". However, the book says: Quote:
So you can have either 2-3 tablespoons of double cream + 3 oz double cream or 2-3 tablespoons of double cream + 1 oz creme fraiche. But 3 oz of double cream or 1 oz of creme fraiche may cause problems to some folks. Does this make more sense now?

| Ahhh Laura!!! Bless you!! I havent been on the forum for a few days so came on during lunch and read all the posts I have missed since I last came on from the start. Reading your progression is better then a week watching soaps! Please don't give up, I had the same thing but sometimes it can be your body getting used to eating so much. I don't know about you but I was a habitual meal skipper and learning atkins as a way of life was to actually force myself to eat more regularly as well as losing weight. I promise you you will notice a difference but you have to be proper strict on yourself at the start. Do you have the book? It really helps to read it and I have a spare copy at home I will happily post you if you want? I'm a real geek - sometimes I read it on the bus on my way to work but it helps me to stay focussed. |

| Teas usually do not have sugar in them. It is a good idea to check though---I remember seeing tea (not the bottled kind) with maltodextrin in it.
