| Watch the rotisserie chickens - almost all of them are seasoned with stuff containing sugar :-( I used to use them a lot, now I pop a chicken in the slow cooker before I go to work instead.

| What else do you do to the chicken? Uh, that doesn't sound right. What I mean is, will you share the details on cooking a chicken this way, for the chicken illiterate? Thanks for checking this out for me. |

| If frozen, thaw. Make sure the chicken is empty (sometimes butchers put some of the organs back in) I'm not a morning person, so I do most of this the night before & just take the chicken out of the fridge & turn on the crock pot in the morning. It's done when I get home from work

| Sounds great Julia. I will pick up chickens on the way home tonight and cook so it's ready for tomorrow's lunch. For tonight, I'll just leave the skin alone. Thanks again. |
