Default How am I doing so far on the 14 day induction?

Ok this is what I've had today

7 small breakfast sausage links
3 Egg whites and One whole Egg (all Scrambled together)

Salad (which included)
1 full Romaine Lettuce
15 black olives cut into pieces
3 Hard boiled eggs
4 oz (yes I measured it) of Sharp chedder Cheese
No dressing

Snack
Pork Rinds (BBQ)
Crystal Light slurpee (sugar free)

Prob for dinner I will have a piece of Steak with a can of Green beans with butter.

Am I doing ok? Should I have less of something? increase something? your input is so helpful thank you so much!

You know you can eat the whole egg, right? And it's actually healthier to eat it whole. I don't know how big those sausages are, but if that's what you need to satisfy your hunger then you should be fine. It's also normal to be hungrier until ketosis sets in, so just eat as much as you need to feel satisfied (without stuffing yourself).

One full head of lettuce? I think that's more than 3 cups. And you should eat other veggies too, not only lettuce.

Spread your veggies throughout the day to avoid a blood sugar spike.

Isn't that sweetened with aspartame? Aspartame should be avoided on Atkins.

How big is that can? You are allowed to have maximum 1 cup of "other veggies", and green beans are on the "Other Vegetables" list.

Is your fat intake around 65% and protein around 30%? I'm wondering if you're not overeating protein... You'll need to enter your menu in FitDay to figure this out.

How could I spread my veggies throughout the day? I didn't know that eating a whole egg is better thanks for the tip.

I checked the lettuce it was 2 cups. Is that ok?

I checked the Crystal light and it does have aspartame so i will avoid that.

The pork Rinds with BBQ did have sugar but the other ones that are just plain don't. So I guess no more BBQ for me.

The green bean can would be the 2 cups so I guess I will avoid that as well. Should I just eat the Steak alone?

Since you've had 2 cups of salad veggies today, you can still have 1 cup of 'other' or 1 cup salad veggies. You can have 1/2 can of green beans with your steak

Spread your veggies out by eating some with each meal, rather than all of them with lunch (A whole romaine sounds like more than 3 cups, so it looked like you had eaten all of your veggies in one meal).

As they are now they are okay, sorry for the confusion. When you said "1 full Romaine Lettuce" I thought it's more than 2 cups and didn't notice the green beans (then forgot to edit that line).

Yes, 2 cups of lettuce is okay. But don't eat this every day. Try more nutritious veggies too.

No, you should have 3 cups of veggies per day, either 3 cups of salad veggies or 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of "other" veggies. The latter applies to you since you ate 2 cups of lettuce for lunch, so you can have 1 cup of green beans. Leave the other half a can for the next days.
