| Ok - a few things that jumped out at me -- berries aren't allowed until Rung 3 so you shouldn't be eating them. Diet Dr Pepper along with other sodas have been known to stall some peoples weight loss -- water would be a better choice or a cup of decaf tea. If the low carb alfredo homemade or store bought? There is a recipe for it on Linda's site -- if it's store bought it probably has ingredients that aren't allowed. Do the hot dogs have fillers and nitrates or are they a hebrew national/nathan's style hot dog? Check your ingredients. You imply there are times you don't eat breakfast -- that's a real no-no. You should never skip a meal, it messes with your blood sugar and will cause you to overeat or eat things not on the acceptable list. If you don't have time to eat in the morning try making something like a mock danish the night before and take it with you to eat on the run -- or switch up your meals and have the chicken you have been eating for lunch at breakfast and the eggs for lunch. Make sure you are eating 2 cups off the veggie list and 1 cup off the other vegetable list daily. Try to eat some type of veggie at each meal - cut up some peppers or onion in your egg, make sure you aren't only eating salad vegetables -- you need the ones on the "other' list for fiber to stay regular and to help fill you up. You don't say how much water you are drinking or how much fat you are using other than dressing.

| I've never been a huge breakfast fan either...I never wake up hungry. Now I make a crustless quiche, cut into 6 portions & freeze. I just pop it in the microwave & eat. When I'm in a big rush in the morning, I bring it to work & eat it there I like chicken salad for lunch too - I usually toss it in with some lettuce/onion/etc so I get my veggies in - apparently having carbs spread out throughout the day, with protein or fat, helps avoid carb-related blood-sugar spikes

| Your signature says that you are in extended induction but from what you wrote you are saying you are on OWL one. I just wondered where you want to be so I can give my suggestions accordingly. Another thing I wondered about is are you asking because you stopped losing or just because you want to be on the right correct track?

| Hey thanks for your input guys. I think the crustless quiche is a great idea, my Mom made that for me not too long ago and it was delicious, so I think I will definitely use that idea. I have a low carb cookbook with 6 ingredients or less in it. So now what kind of hot dogs should I be eating? I guess I wasn't really looking at the ingredients I was just looking at the carb content. The alfredo sauce is homemade with just parm. cheese, butter and heavy whipping cream. As for my water intake, I try to drink a minimum of 150 oz a day, I don't always accomplish that, but I try to drink as much plain water as possible. I always opt for water rather than grabbing a diet pop or something. However I do indulge once in a while in my Diet Dr. Pepper but it isn't daily and sometimes isn't even weekly. Anyway, I really appreciate your help on this! |

| P.S. I am on OWL 1, I need to update my profile. I haven't stopped losing, but it seems as though the weight loss is intermittent. I would just like to be on track and make sure I'm doing the best I can to keep this process working for me. Thanks for your input! |

| So you may need to get kind of back to basis here. You are not following rung one now. If that is what you want to do you should cut out the berries (for now) and only eat from the allowed list on induction but make sure you eat more than 3 cups of vegetables. It is not that hard. If you have slowed them it may be because you are not paying enough attention.
