If you are hungry you should eat a protein/fat snack...something like chicken dipped in mayo or cream cheese rolled up in ham or turkey meat. Cottage cheese is not allowed until the dairy rung so stay away from it until you get to that Rung. I spread my vegetables throughout the day - I put veggies and meat in my eggs in the morning and make an omelet - fills me up more. During induction between meals remember the protein/fat snack from above. What exercises are you doing? Getting your body moving helped keep my hunger at bay in the beginning and it also helped get the inches moving off my body. Make sure you're drinking a minimum of 64 ounces of water daily -- nothing added. Eat only foods on the acceptable food list (did you look at it and know the foods you should be eating?). Good luck

| Good idea on the veggies and meat in the eggs, I will try that this morning. No more cottage cheese. Exercise, not really doing any. This is terrible but if I stand for more than 3 minutes my back hurts really bad(weight contributing to this) I have a shoulder injury which keeps me from doing weights and swimming, also knee tear, and really bad ankles(because of the weight) I hate to sound like Im making excuses, but I can't even go up the stairs without going up like a 90 year old.

| Eat more in the morning. Much more. Don't let it go to 1:30 before eating again. Have a filling snack in between (boiled eggs, meat and mayo, tuna salad?). Eat slowly and make sure you use fats. (Read the rules!!!! Good lucky lady. Have a look at some of our before and afters. We have had plenty of members here who have started where you are and found their health back. You are on your way too. Congratulations.

| one thing that i would recommend is using fit day to see how many calories you are eating and make sure your percentages are correct. i suspect that you are eating way too few calories for your current body weight. this will change and as you begin to lose you will be able to eat less. dont ever let yourself get hungry and be more intent on sticking to the details of the plan than losing weight. good luck! i'll bet you'll do just fine

| Your story sounds exactly like mine. I first started 4 years ago and did so incredibly well I made it to my goal. I gained 85 pounds back - 15 more than I lost - and went back on it last year and lost 35 before I fell off and gained all 35 back now I'm starting again UGH!! I start tomorrow and came on here to get motivated. I'm glad I saw your story cos it did get me motivated to start - if someone else can do it so can I. Good Luck!
