Default What do you think of my menu???

8.30Am 3 Slices of bacon Diced and Fried in no oil, 200Ml of egg whites (10-15 Egg whites), 30 Grams crushed Natural Tomato.

2.30Pm Same as breakfast


7.30pm Either 2 Chicken Breasts (400Grms) . Or 2 Steaks (500grms)
With egg whites and Tuna and Tomato

3 Litres of water a day

Loads of walking (3-5 Kilometers a day)

And 1.5 Hours of gym

If you are doing Atkins induction I see a few problems.
You should be consuming 3 cups of vegis, spread thru out the day. Sorry I don't know the grams.

Your breatfast and lunch are too far apart. you should not go so long with out eating.

Are you trying to cut fat, you shouldnt be?

I would suggest an account at www.fitday.com
to chart your fat/protein/carb ratios it should be about 65/35/5

Have you read the book? If not get yourself the 2002 DANDR.

As Laurenfra suggested you ought to be eating more veggies.

Tomatoes are on the 'one-cup' list so ought not be your only vegetable. By restricting yourself you are limiting the nutrients a more varied selection would be giving you.

If you do open a free 'account' with www.fitday.com you can look at the 'nutrition' report to check that you are having the right kind of vitamins and minerals your body needs.

And why the eggwhites mixture and not real eggs?

Matthew, I am also concerned about your first day. 10 egg whites and 2 slices bacon gives you hardly any fat, and way to much protein. If you add a cup of tomatos, thats way over in carbs.
Also you need to eat at least every 6 hours like the ladies said.
Egg whites are fine for protein but they have virtually no fat and this is a fat driven plan, without fat it doesn't work.
I know lots of folks don't like the egg yoke, so you will need to add more fat. Cook the eggs in oil or add mayo to the meal.
Its takes awhile to get it right, so don't be discouraged. Happy low-carbing
