| Last question (I think). I only eat broccoli, carrots, red peppers and onion in the way of vegetables, if onion and peppers are a veg! How many carbs, if any do these have, per cup? |

| All vegetables have carbs. Most of your carbs should come from vegetables, in fact. Carrots are not allowed on Induction; they have too much sugar. To stay within Atkins parameters, you would need to eat 2 cups of peppers (from List A: Salad veggies) and one cup of broccoli (from List B: Other Veggies) each day - no more, no less. Onions are problematic because they are high carb for an induction food, and thus generally people use 1/8th of cup or less for flavour or garnish. Red Peppers: 5.9g Broccoli: 3.5 Onions: 12g Carrots: 7.5g (again, it's not the carbs, it's the sugar.)

| It depends. If you cook them from raw, the raw counts are fine. If you grill them with olive oil or sautee them with butter, for example, you'd add the carbs except at .0085 carbs per teaspoon, that's a little... crazy. (I do add it to my fit day but I don't take those carbs into account when menu planning.) You would enjoy using FitDay.com (it's free) once you have your measuring cup

| What might help all of you is to purchase a set of measuring cups an measuring spoons online and have them shipped to you. When Dr Atkins set up the eating plan it's too bad he didn't take into consideraton all nations but since he was from the US I'm sure that's why everything is done in cups instead of litres or grams or other measurements.
