Default Another menu review please!

Hi, I'm on day 2 of induction and wondering if any of you atkin's veterans would please let me know if I'm on the right track, or if I need to make any adjustments to my menu? I would really appreciate it!

Today's intake:

Breakfast - 3 eggs scrambled with 1/4 cup tomatoes, 1/2 cup mushrooms, and 1oz colby jack cheese; and 2 pieces of ham (no sugar or carbs)

Lunch - 1 cup arugula with 1 can tuna and 2 tbsp mayonaise and 1 slice turkey

Dinner - 1 chicken breast with 1 oz cheese and 3/4 cup broccoli with butter; 2 tbsp mayo


Also, is ther a limit on the amount of mayo you can have on induction? Thanks for your help!

Not exactly. But mayo has carbs, so don't forget to count them towards your total. And most of your net carbs should be coming from vegetables.

How much food is in that menu? How many calories? Some people tend to undereat either because they have the "dieting mentality" or because of the appetite suppressant effect of ketosis.

You could use a few more veggies there.

Its roughly 1980 calories. It breaks down to 63% fat, 36% protein, and 3% carbs.

Also, I was trying to stay within the three cups rule for veggies. I think i did miss is by half a cup though now that I'm looking at it. Will have to be more aware.

A note about your entries. When you enter, "Broccoli, cooked", in FitDay, FitDay assumes you cook the broccoli exactly the same way they did. It is more accurate if you enter all vegetables raw (or frozen or canned) and enter separately the ingredients you used in cooking (2 tbsp of olive oil, I believe). Same for meats --- it's better to enter them raw.

How is your water intake (in oz)?
