Smile Back for the last time!!!!

I'm restarting for the very last time today, 5/27/08. Five years ago I lost 25 lbs. but because of laziness and lack of paying attention, I've gained it all back. I liked the way I felt and looked in 2003, I am ready to get back to it and stay there! I have tried to restart many times with no luck, but as I'm writing this, I am feeling my confidence grow and grow. I KNOW this time it will work for me. In 2003 I turned 50 and my motto then was I can't help getting older, but I don't have to be fat and that got me where I wanted to be. Well, now I'm about to turn 55 and I feel the same way once more. I had breast cancer 2 years ago and know I need to eat a lot healthier than I have been, sooooo, beginning now I will do it! Unfortunately I travel a lot for my job, but I have two full weeks at home before I leave for 3 weeks, so these next two weeks of induction will get me going and motivated to do this for the last time!!

Sorry this is so long and thank you if you have stuck with me! I just needed to put it down to make it actually feel real!!!!

D, don't be surprised if things move a little slower this time around. Hopefully it won't be, but I know that has been the case for me. Welcome back to the WOE.

Jesse, how long did it take you and how much did you lose? I read the last page of your blog and I love your attitude. I know these things in my head but I have not yet embraced it and I can't quite pinpoint why. My health and wellbeing are always better on the WOE so why do I let myself slip away? What prevents me from wanting health and feeling good over whatever it is that causes me to jump ship? This is my million dollar question. LOL
