    Default Vegetarian

Hi guys! I haven't been here in forever, but I do see some familiar faces. It has been over a year since I tried Atkins. I moved to The Netherlands at that time and I decided to get off Atkins for awhile. It had a lot to do with the different language and having difficulty finding familiar products. Also, a bit to do with the bakery downstairs and the pub on the corner. (sigh)

It also has a lot to do with an aversion to meat. I was a vegetarian for a few years and doing Atkins previously was hard for me. Some things I had no trouble with. For example, hamburger was a staple for me.

Does anyone have success doing Atkins, but not eating a lot of meat?

I have been doing weight watchers for almost a year. (sigh - again) I have not gained (miracles!) but of course, I have not lost either.

I will say this about Atkins. I lost thirty pounds with it about four years ago. Boy, did that feel good.

I guess right now, I am just loitering back around and trying to weigh (ha) my options....

Tofu is awesome. Thanks for the reminder. It is hard to think low carb after thinking WW for so long. I miss that feeling, though. You know the one? That high energy, in ketosis, feeling?!
