Saturday morning, and this is day 7. I am relieved to have most of the hard part over. I am off to ride a big ride this morning. After I get off here, I will go put on my "Eddie Bauer" shorts and see how they fit today. I know this time next week I can easily wear them.
Those shorts are my "mile marker" the thing I am working very hard for.
It's a simple illusion that works great for this visual person. I hang clothing on my wall and work toward them. The first year I kept a pair of pants up for 4 months and eventually I wore them....now I have a pair of jeans on the wall I have never been comfortable in, but I want to be!

Working towards something always helps me. 2 weeks of induction, a pair of favorite shorts, a triathlon, a mileage goal for the month. Something out there to move myself towards some times makes each day easier for me.
I love mileage goals and numbers I meet. Speed never intices me, its always gonna be about how much I can acquire over the MONTH!

Making this fun is a key thing for me to endure and do well. Achieving hair-brain goals is great fun for me! Fun, fun, fun. Fun will be getting in those shorts and knowing I've got what it takes to get in THEM! Pride and confidence come from moving myself into that place. My body will lead me there, at it's own pace, but since I want a lifestyle, when I get there is not as important AS GETTING THERE! The fun is wearing what I love! Instead of always wishing!

Keep up the good work Jess. I know what you mean about having goals because without them, we are lost. You certainly are very athletic and that is an inspiration to the rest of us. I always enjoy reading your updates and wish you the best of luck.

I personally like the challenges here on the board and have now entered the 'how long can you go' one because I need the accountability to help me stay on track.

How much I can acquire over a month---Jess, that should be the bestest goal ever. Thanks for sharing that, I needed to read that this morning.

I've moved up through OWL rungs, and have lost 12 pounds since restarting, but I don't ever forget where I restarted at and how easily it would be to have to do it again. I don't plan on it, but I know it's reality that it can happen. I still appreciate STAC, even more, every day!

Morning, day 13 for me! Almost through induction and looking forward to seeing exactly how much I lost on Monday. The good news is a low metabolic resistance. So that is awesome. I have already lost 11 pounds.
So up and on plan.

Feeling awesome right now although I have been having a hard time getting up the last two mornings. Unusual for me, but I think my traveling threw me off. I am a serious homebody...Got work over with early and went and got a haircut. Sounds like everyone is doing great!

Day 6 for me and I am still cheat free YEAH ME!! Except.. I have a bad yeast infection. Could it be from going back on induction?

You might check out the candida forum. They might be of more help, hope things get better quickly.
I would lay off mushrooms and cheese for awhile.
