| Yeah just watch the mixers and you will be fine ... as long as you are not doing this too often. I mean you are on vacation. But stick to the diet. Too many people go on vaca and say ... ahhh I am on vacation and I am just going to splurge this one meal ... That is a mistake and dont do it ... stick to the diet ... if you need/ want a drink just watch the mixers. I also dont mind the low carb beer but you still need to count them. Quote:

| I ate Mexican on Sunday. I had a taco salad and didn't eat the shell. I didn't put salsa on top. It was fine and didn't kick me out of ketosis so I guess there weren't too many hidden carbs in there. I'd also say to pack some cheese sticks and celery sticks to have on hand. |

| If you go to a restaurant that serves breakfast all day, you're set. You can have eggs or an omelette and still be fine. Mexican is really hard for me. Chips and salsa...mmmmm... I second the taco salad in that case. Also, most chain restaurants (Applebee's, Blackeyed Pea, etc.) have great salads. I prefer a good Cobb salad myself, and I've become the Cobb salad expert in my town. ![]() The big thing too is to stay away from condiments like ketchup (sugar!). And, you can always get a hamburger and just not eat the bun.
