Default New Recipe to try-STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE!!!!

ELMAS STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE
Induction Friendly
THIS HAS A LITTLE OVER 2 CARBS OR A LITTLE
UNDER 3 DEPENDING ON YOUR SERVING
3 or 4 servings

1 pkg sugar free strawberry jello-0 carbs!!!
(or lime,orange,raspberry-you choose)
6 tbsp WHIPPED cream cheese
( whipped has less carbs)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp or 2 of heavy cream
5 or 6 packets of Splenda

Prepare jello as you normally would
And put in a shallow pie pan OR
I put mine in disposable cups and divide my
jello into 3 servings to take to work

Put cream cheese in micro for about 30 seconds-just
enough to make it easy to stir then mix in splenda,
vanilla and cream until smooth, then dollop on top of
jello and smooth out in even layer- chill until cheesecake mixture has cooled down and enjoy!!!!

Different versions Ive tried:
1. put layer of cream cheese on bottom-cool jello a bit in fridge then pour cooled jello over cheesecake mixture and serve when the jello has set

2. mix it all up like a parfait after the cheesecake mixture has cooled.

3. *make an almond crust- ( after induction ONLY)
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds-1/2 cup butter- 2 packets splenda- 2 tbsp whey protein powder
put almonds in blender or food processor - mix butter in with almonds, powder and splenda and press into bottom of pie pan and toast in oven for about 10 minutes til lightly brown and carefully layer the cream cheese mixture over it-put in fridge, once its cooled down- pour cooled jello over it and serve when jello is set.
*dont forget to add the additional carbs from the almonds, splenda and powder-

Enjoy and you can minimize the Cream cheese mixture to half if you really want to save carbs- there are so many versions to try, HAVE FUN...

This sounds delicious!!! Thank you

I checked the Philadelphia whipped cream cheese as compared to the regular cream cheese and they both showed the same, at least here in Canada. Did you use a different type of cream cheese?

I just made this but only added 3 packets of Splenda. I taste tested it by licking the spoon and 3 packets was perfect for my taste. I used the DaVinci vanilla syrup. It's in the fridge cooling now - - I can't wait to try it!

I got the Walmart brand here- 'great value' has 1 carb per 2 tbsp, but be warned... I did try it the other night with regular cream cheese and it was not a lite as the whipped and overwhelmed the dessert-it was so thick or add more cream to it.. I eat this every other day and Im still experimenting...

I tried this last night and wanted to report that that it was TO DIE FOR!!!!!! I can't wait to try this with orange or lime!

It made 4 servings for me - perhaps will make it into 3 servings next time as I don't think I really had enough cream cheese mixture to spread on 4...it was a thin layer.

Wanting to get to the nuts rung quickly to put an almond crust on it now hehehe
