| Hey Momtomany, sounds like fun, hope you're sweatin and smilin. Checking in here for this fine Sunday morning. Today is my weekly weigh-in, and now I'm facing what everyone does sometimes, the dreaded "OMG, I only lost 1 pound this week" thing. But being a member of STAC means that I knew this was going to happen. I know that muscle weighs more than fat and I've been doing a lot more exercise now than I have in years so I'm definitely replacing fat with muscle. It means I know that some weeks the body doesn't show a weight loss, it's busy tightening and shrinking things with the inside mechanicals somehow. I also know that I had one pink-stick instead of purple-stick day due to eating cheese the day before, so that now I know that cheese doesn't work for me while I'm losing. Plus I know that my first two weeks was an astounding 19 pounds, probably mostly water-weight as is typically true of most folks just starting induction. So, losing 20 pounds in just 3 weeks is, to every traditional dieter out there, impossible without starving, which I definitely have not done, lol. And, on top of all that, any loss, no matter how small, is one step in the right direction, and for a fact I've been going in the wrong direction for several years. So, I'm a success today. And I am renewing my pledge to myself to continue my new successful lifestyle for life. Everyone have a great day! GBM

| Morning, today I saw a loss of 2 pounds! So I got to update my ticker again. Always a great way to start the day. we have a family birthday party today, so no cake, going to take some low carb goodies for me though. And I fit nicely into a cute pair of jeans so overall feeling really proud of myself. That always helps when facing temptation. |

| Day 14 for me and it looks like my total loss is 7 lbs -- which is just great for my modified induction. I'm planning to keep things exactly as they are for now. Clothes seem to be fitting looser, which is great. I'm in it for the long haul.

| hello! I have to go to a party today, and I feel guilty that I'm absolutely not into going. ha! it's a potluck, so I SHOULD make something meaty and low-carb and put in an appearance. sheesh. I just want to run my errands, go skating, and that's it. and have a nap, I was out too late last night. hope you all have a fabulous, on-plan day!
