| I have totally been there... Have you tried a over the counter remedy - like pepto? I have been known to chew the chewable tabs when I feel really sick from induction. Its a much better remedy than a bagel, trust me ( of course for me I would be thinking of grabbing a coke ) it may help, it usu helps me

| For me what works is to talk to myself, if I talk convincingly sometimes I can power through the roadblock. Here's what I would say to myself: Wow, you're showing great positive signs of changing over from glucose burning to fat burning. Maybe you're flushing away a big load of fat that has been stored in your cells! Drink more water to help with the flush...even one extra glass of water is a help. Feeling yucky is a common symptom of withdrawal from any kind of substance, drug, alcohol, or whatever. But look at your awesome weight loss, 5-8 pounds already! Keep going, you know you can do it!

| Well I woke up feeling much better today! I made it. I tell ya though, I was so ready to quit. You just wonder if your going to feel that way for the rest of your low-carb days? Know what I mean? LOL But I am through it I think. Thanks for the support! |
