| I'm eating a bowl full of Jimmy Dean fully cooked sausage (four patties) and four eggs--scrambled and nuked in the microwave. Yummm! And I won't even be hungry at lunch time. But I'll eat a big ole salad with cheese and ham and caesar dressing. And supper will be a roast cooked in beef broth (au jus) in the crockpot along with some broc and cauliflower. |

| Breakfast is Hamb-Broc Alfredo Casserole... I'm feeling great, I dropped back into the 170's this morning!!!! I haven't been weighing myself for a while... this restart I know I was well over 186... and this morning I was 179.6! So, wohoo for that!! I hope everyone else has a great day!!! |

| I showed up for roll call today..............it has been awhile..............BUT I am back and ready to go. I have read up and caught up with reading this site. My atkins book is now back by my favorite reading chair. Have meat thawing so I can put it on the grill tonight for supper and still have some left over for the next 2 days........... At work.........there are about 15 nurses (including me) that have put in $20 a piece for incentive to lose weight. Our day of reckoning is Jan 5. Biggest percentage loser takes all................nice incentive, but also I am one who doesn't want to be left out!! So if they are losing weight, I want to be a part of that too!! Weighed in 2 days ago and I am at my all time high! But I need to get over it, make it my motivation to lose it for good! Hey thanks for listening today. This morning I had an egg, slice of turkey (deli meat) and cheese. for lunch lettuce and chicken (from Sams club-the broasted ones-yum!) Plan on drinking the water that I owe my body!! (I am not a water drinker).

| Good morning all. at a -2 pound weight loss this morning. I'm going to start focusing on letting the Atkins way lower my appetite which they say starts to happen after the first couple of days. I was pigging out, spending the last couple days on induction trying to break the belief in my head that I will gain weight if I eat any of this stuff, bacon, eggs, etc. etc. Fact is, the first two days I was dropping albeit I'm sure more slow than some on induction cuz I truly was pigging out but that day that I goofed up cuz of the no food in the house issue and I had to carb it is when I GAINED. Not from any of the pigging out that I'd done with all the meats and stuff, no, didn't gain at all but one day of carbs and WHOOSH, the whoosh fairy came and smacked me on the head and said "Wrong way woman". I shot up 4 pounds on carbs. That was enough for me to go "Okay- I believe it." It took me 2 days getting it back down to where I was. lesson 2- 1 day of fouling up may need a couple days to reverse it. not worth it. So now I'm going to focus on having normal sized meals now that I can trust that I'm not going to gain weight by switching to this lifestyle and that I'm not going to "go without" and that if I have times when I get kinda Bingy, it's okay as long as it's on the list. |

| Okay, This is my third time back, I also have been scanning the boards have my book in hand and ready to take it head on. Been on plan since 10/14 and pretty much stayed at 183 i need to lose at least 15 #s to start phase 1. My second week aftyer reading the book again, I remembered about all the veggies I need on induction so I have been more strict this week and am down 4#s. Shell bell

| Hi all! Induction is going well I think. I'm on day 4 and I feel like there is a difference around my middle a little bit. Hope that's not all in my head. Hahaha. I finally got over the Induction flu headache thing. Thank God. It was awful! Hope you all are doing well in your weight loss efforts.
