| Hello! My youngest was feeling better so they went to the creche whilst I worked out today. I reached a personal milestone - 30 mins on the elliptical trainer - YAY! I then do 20 mins hill climb on the treadmill. I am just two minutes off my target of 52 mins cardio. I am sure I can do it! I am going to add some weight training in soon too. I had hamburger pie for lunch with a watercress, rocket spinach salad with olive oil and cider vinegar. It was sooooo tasty. A friend of mine is coming over tonight so I will be having a salad again. I will serve her a jacket potato and I will stick to the protein and salad. Have a great day everyone! It's not quite 6pm here and pitch black. Winter is here! Zara x |

| hello! I have a weird cold. bah! I'm making some turkey and black bean (one can for the entire pot) chili and hoping the spice will help! I went out last night, and did a tiny test of my "potatoes are evil" theory. I wanted to kind of dip my toe into the starchy veggies rung, as I've been on fruits for ages. a raw baby carrot here and there seemed fine. then I tried potato last night. about ONE tablespoon screwed me up! I couldn't get full on all the other stuff I had, and today I was babysitting my sister's kids, saw a bottle of coke in the fridge and for the first time since july, it looked really appealing. so forget it! the potato didn't taste good enough to continue having again for a very, very long time, and it was like I could feel my body going "oooh, simple starches...let's make some FAT!" so yeah...no thanks. I'll stick to cauliflower. even my cousin's wedding cake didn't affect me that badly. hope you're having a great weekend, all.
