| Ummmmm.... Hrm. Not really sure what I walked into here. I think I'm one of those umm, strict people at times. I was actually pretty sad when they wouldn't let you type **** anymore, since my favourite nickname was "Gym ****". But anyway. I wanted to say COngrats on jumping back on the wagon, Meli. I agree with Sarina about keeping things around your lair. I always keep frozen and canned veggies as well as canned tuna, salmon and crab. That way if I don't get a chance to go to the grocery, there is *something* to eat. Even if it's not really something as delicious as it could be. I then force myself to go shopping for fear of starving to death (or cheating) the next day.

| Hi Meli, I am one of those folks for whom tough love works in some things but not in others. For me, tough love over the internet never works. Like someone else said, you can't hear the tone of voice and caring behind the words. So if i am already feeling down, sometimes reading posts makes me feel even more like a loser. For myself, some of the best moderators have been those that give you a "pull up your bootstraps, you can do it" speech. Its just a bit different in the way it comes across but it makes a world of difference. Sorry for your bad week. Don't feel like you are alone in this. I would bet many of us lapse occasionally and a lot of us don't record each lapse on the board, we just pick ourselves up and get back on track ASAP. There's no need to record it--I know when I have goofed and often I want to skip the lecture. However, because all these goof ups don't get reported I sometimes feel like I am the only one who seems to have so much trouble staying on track. Sounds to me like you are doing great and know yourself well. Have a good weekend.
