| Welcome aboard Chivon. Glad to see that you are not giving into the starting after the holiday excuse. My advice - Never go more than 6 waking hours without eating Have prepared legal snacks available to you If you get bored in induction after the 2 weeks, move up the rungs Measure your body since the scale will not always show a weight loss Water..Water..Water - drink lots of it Read the 2002 version of the book if you haven't already Good luck!!

| Thanks debie i will try that!! Going shopping tomorrow for atkins products making my menu for the week NOW..Gotta say when i do it right.. I do it right.. I was very strict when on atkins before and loved it..fell off though and ready to fight back full force.Thanks for your help and support i am gonna need it!!

| The rewards are real, but they take time, or they come when your body adjusts to Atkins. For all of us, that could be different. Keep your eyes on building a consistent way of eating and exercise and let the results come in their own due time. If it's only about results and not a life style, when the weight is off, you will revert right back to the old way and weight climbs back on faster than you think! Lifestyle, it's the mantra I am trying to nail in my life.!

| Hi Chivon! I recently returned too! I have 2 boys at home: a 3 year old and a 17 year old. It's soooo hard to keep out of the snacks when I buy it for them, so I've picked up induction legit stuff like pork rinds and carb free pepperoni slices because both boys will eat it, and I can snack on it too without guilt. Oh, and I get stuff for the toddler that I don't really care for - like marshmallows. Yik. :P That way I don't feel tempted to snack on them when he wants "real sugar". Cory

| Thanks cory!! My boys will not eat pork rinds..i have been buying more fruits and veggies snacks for them. I never really buy chips.. but its the cookies here and there that typically get me lol.So what i have started doing is buying them as needed i will have hubby get them their snacks on the days needed.So this way they are not around the house until i know i am over it fully.
