I have a confession

I fell of the wagon just over a month ago, and to be honest i'm pretty disappointed with myself.
I had a visit to the dentist, and she pulled a tooth out. The root's were that long i could feel them pulling at the soles of my boots's .
A few day's later she pulled another one out.
So, for the best part of a month after that, every 4 hour's of every day i had to take painkiller's.
I was having difficulty in chewing my food, with a couple of teeth missing on one side, and two gaping great holes on the other.
So i ended up in carbohydrate city............and boy it was good .
Anyway, i have come to realise the error of my way's and shall be climbing back on the wagon......on Boxing day (i made a Christmas pudding, very rich in fruit and soaked in whisky.......and i just have to taste it).

This time, it's the big push.

Hi Swordfish! There are number of ways you could have dealt with your dental problems and you chose the one that you could tolerate at that point in time. You have to do what you have to do to deal with certain situations. There's no shame in that. The important thing is you decided that you will be returning.

I have to admit i have fallen at the first hurdle. It didn't happen on the 26th........too many Christmas goodies lying around.
Once again i'm disappointed with myself.
There are a couple of family issues that don't seem to be helping at the moment, but i'm hoping to resolve them in the very near future.
