| Everyone's body reacts to things differently. Sometimes you just have to experiment a bit. It is great you are taking the time to recognize what works for you!

| I agree with you on the crystal light, avoid artificial sweeteners as much as you can while on induction. It's two weeks of your life that will pay off forever. The salt thing, visit your spice aisle and see Mrs. Dash. She has wonderful flavors that don't have salt. Also, there are some spices that I add to almost everything. Curry has fenugreek in it and aids in fat metabolism and lessens the insulin response of carbohydrates. Crushed red pepper and cayenne pepper are thermogenics that release endorphins and raise your metabolism. I add all three of these to my omlettes and seasoned meat. Who needs salt? I also make a chili that has a lot of these plus crazy amounts of milled flax seed. If you need to add fiber to your diet, see the recipe in the recipe forum. I eat it twice a day, every day. Welcome back, T. J.

| Hi. I do use those single serving drink packets. The ones I use are Nestea sweetened with Splenda. I take one of those single serving packs and use it for 3 750 ml drinks so the flavour is very 'light' - I don't like overly sweet things. Anyhow, if you can't cut them out, just try to use them more sparingly. They keep me going so I use them. S- |

| Way to go! We all need to do this for ourselves. Assess what we're doing that is not working, not healthy, sabotaging our progress, etc and act on it. It sounds like you're taking care of you! |

| Great observations! I find the same with the drinks. And if you don't give them up your taste buds never understand they don't really want the sweet stuff. I am shocked at how much I like water again after putting my Coke Zero and Propel packets away for a week. |

| Okay, you guys talked me into chicken curry tonight. I had never tasted it before Atkins, so was surprised how much I love it. I have always hated the texture of rice, but cauli-rice I can handle.
