| Hmmmm....a typical menu the first few days was eggs and sausage for breakfast, mid-morning snack was either bacon or hardboiled eggs, lunch has been chicken caesar salad or leftover taco salad (a personal favorite of mine), afternoon snack was whatever I didn't have for morning snack and dinner was sometimes two burger patties with cheese, mayo and low carb ketchup with a side of broccoli or cauliflower or one night it was taco salad...I've been repeating a lot of the same meals cuz that's what I like. Last week I made one of Linda's recipes for broccoli quiche, which was really good...but by the end of the week I was sooooo sick of it. I'm not sure I can ever eat it again. That will teach me to freeze leftovers! One night I also made chicken fingers using a recipe from this site, and I also made my own mock-honey mustard dipping sauce...that was pretty good, but grainy. I need to work on that. I've got to work on expanding my horizons with recipes...but I'm so enjoying where I'm at right now just using what I know. I did have a tiny sweet tooth sunday night...so I took some pork rinds, drizzeled some butter over top of them and sprinkled a mixture of splenda and cinamon on them...it was "all right" in a pinch. What is your menu looking like Ashley? Maybe we can find some things for you to cut back on.

| rajenki, you are off to a great start! I would highly suggest that you forego the alcohol at the parties ESPECIALLY since you are still on Induction. It will be sooooo worth it. It seems you are doing wonderfully! Your eating seems excellent and your attitude is contagious. Keep up the good work and you'll be chugging along nicely towards goal! |

http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) You don't say how much cheese you are eating, but be aware that cheese is limited to 3-4 ounces per day. Also make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
