| last time I did atkins I lost 32 lbs and still didnt feel like i'd lost anything.I went down 3-4 pants sizes and still didnt think I looked different. I felt better, and I was happy that I wore different sizes, but I didn't see it when I looked in the mirror even though i was WEARING the proof. 11 days isn't really enough to feel or see much difference personally. You wont wake up one day and be in a brand new body. its a slow climb, just let it happen. |

I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
