| hah thanks everyone. I was a whiny brat this morning about it, not made any better by when I told my mom about it and how it was frustrating she said "well maybe its time to cheat". WHAT?! She's all high and mighty because she's lost 7lbs while cheating the entire time. But I digress. Oh jeez tfek I remember 197 well. I was stuck there for a month last time I did atkins, and the only thing that knocked me out of it was getting strep throat and a high fever. I don't recommend it lol. I actually plan on giving my boyfriend my scale and making him take it back to his house. And i'll make him bring it back over maybe twice a month. I think my life would be a lot easier if the temptation of the scale wasn't there. He personally thinks I should still weigh, and teach myself to just accept the fluxuations, but if I whine like that when my weight goes up, I don't need that kind of temptation around me to "prove" I can handle it. Just get rid of the darn thing! Everlosing I DO plan on working out every day! I figure if those guys on biggest loser can work out 4 hours a day, I can do a lot better than the piddly half an hour i've been doing!

Happy Sunday STAC'ers![]() I feel great. My throat is still raw but my mood is fantastic. My knee seems perfect today. That makes me very happy I was so sure I was going to need another surgery Friday night and today I am certain I just need to wear a brace when I am out and about ![]() This morning I was laying in bed stretching my back and my legs before I climbed out and I realized the big belly rolls have melted down a lot. Instead of having the rolls that are crowded together, I now have the sepperated by about 3-4 inches of skin.... Weird I know the skin is kind of sloppy but at least it is not hard with fat any more ![]() If you didn't hear we have a Volcano erupting/spewing lots of ash near Anchorage. Everything has pretty much closed down due to ash and silly as it seems that makes me happy.... I can relax today. All of my normal plans have been cancelled. I think I am going to make cheese cake muffins. We are doing ribeyes for dinner as well. Last night I made magical vegi soup with black beans, garbanzo beans and cubed ham so I have lots of lunches already prepared for the week. Kibsix- when ever I seem to slow down and don't see any results for a week or so I try to add more fat. I do that with cheese cake muffins. I think I prefer them over the real cheese cake because the real cheese cake is too dry. I also try to make sure I am getting enough carbs and most of those from vegis- so I like to make soup and different salads and of course use interesting textures. The omlette trick works pretty well but I usually only use 2 eggs (I can't eat that much in the morning). You are doing great ![]() Yep TJ is right. We all suffered through at that weight I think my body was that weight for a year or 2 so it was fighting to keep that weight for a while. Yep Sandy- you are doing good 14 pounds is a big deal. Think of a 10# sack of pototoes and then a 5# sack thats a lot of bulk & weight and can you imagine packing those around all day? You have permantently removed that from you body ![]() Have a super day STAC'ers. Julie |

| Hey everyone. I'm here...trying to get the gumption up to get up and do a workout on the eliptical. My arms are sore from the weights yesterday....that good sore though, I'm pretty happy about it. LOL I spent the morning making breakfast "quiches" in muffin cups to take to work for the next couple weeks. I just finished off the last batch...totaly makes grabbing a quick breakfast easy. Last batch wasn't in muffing papers though...I hope that works out ok. I think I'm having steak for dinner...not entirely sure yet. Right now I just need to get my booty in gear and do that workout...and laundry...and bills...ugh...

Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again. |

| rajenki you look great! I had a rough day yesterday.. instead of playing the recital I got in a multiple car accident. A woman (who seemed very out of it) plowed through the intersection on red and slammed into me without ever hitting her brakes. The impact spun me into the car next to me, then I bounced back and hit the original car again. Ping pong me. Every one was ok, I went to the ER and spent 6 hours laying flat in a neck brace. I know it's vain but I was so humiliated when they undressed me and pushed on my stomache and all the other little things that make me feel like a fat non person. At the scene the woman who hit me was crying and hysterical and all the attention was on her. The didn't even check my injuries they were so busy with her. And I was the one that was bounced around the intersection. I couldn't help but think it was because she was attractive and I was a fat blob. I know I am being stupid but these are the self defeating thoughts in my head today. Anyway, my 2 week old "new to me" car looks totaled and I had to many carbs yesterday. I had nothing to eat all day since I was in the ER (not even water) until around 5:30 pm so when the nurse brought me a sandwich I devoured it. I feel sore and drugged and defeated today. But I am back on track with the eating... wishing I could weigh myself to see some good news! Sorry for the bummer check in. |

| OMG...Loopie! What a horrible experience for you. I'm glad you are ok though. It's probably a really good thing you don't weigh right now. I would definitely hold off for a while! First...that sandwich is going to make you retain water....but second, I'm SURE you are going to have some sore/stiff muscles from the accident, and all of that is going to be attributed to inflamation and therefor more water retention...the scale will look horrible. Get some rest, stay on plan, stay away from the scale. {hugs}

| Rajenki, wow, you can really tell the difference in your face. That's the first place it always shows on me, too! Loopie, I am so sorry for your accident. That must have been so scary for you! Thank God you are all right. Hang tough! As for me, I got up this morning, with another 1 pound loss, and we decided to go into Kingsport to meet some friends at the Mexican Restaurant. So, I thought I would try on a size smaller pants since the rest are too big, and found that I can now wear a size 14. Yeah! Our friends live about 40 minutes from me, so I don't get to see them much. Boy, were they surprised!! Such wonderful compliments!! It really makes it worth it to have other people notice a difference. I've gone from a real tight 18 to a 14. WOW! I just wish that everyone would try Atkins and feel the difference. This WOE is wonderful. Congrats to everyone on their losses, and for those who feel bad, I hope you get better so you can stay on plan. carlae SW/206 CW/176 GW/145 Restarted Atkins on 01/01/09 Female/53 yrs/5'4"
