| Hang in there, Loopie!! We're all here for you!! ![]() I see a few new poster's on Roll-Call... that's a good thing!! I'm happy because the scale read 201 again this morning. That's 3 days in a row I'm also fast approaching 100 days cheat-free and that feels great! When ever I think about cheating (which isn't often, fortunately) I think about having to re-start my count. I soooo don't want to start at 1 again!! Becki - I'm going to get myself in trouble here... My opinion = have a diet coke if you want one! One of the things I've discovered with this WOL is that if I deprive myself too much I'll crumble. I like diet coke, I generally drink caffeine-free and it doesn't affect my weight loss. Most importantly, I don't let it interfere with my water intake. Remember, though... each of us is different. It may affect YOUR weightloss... it may cause you to drink less water. But if it makes you feel better - normal even - have a glass/can/bottle... and watch for any adverse effects. First negative sign, eliminate it from your plan. Or... just toss my suggestion in the trash It's all about making your plan work for you!!Kib - like Julie said, I do weigh everyday and I graph everything. While it can be frustrating at times, I am generally motivated by the process. I LOVE seeing the downward trend on my graph, even with the silly but totally normal fluctuations and plateaus. I also find it helps me to monitor what affects my plan - for example, when I added nuts (I don't eat them often) I watched my graph for a sign that they wouldn't work for me. No problem! I don't have a fancy graph - just a Word table document. I'd be happy to share it with you (or anyone) if it would help. BUT... don't be a daily weigher like me if you can't handle the fluctations!! Okay everyone... have a great day!! ![]() Vickie

| Loopie...the pain meds could be making you feel lethargic. Are you on Vicodin or Perocet? That would make me zone out for a few hours after a dose. I hope your feeling all right and am glad your back on plan. If you had any muscle injury it will heal better with protein Vickie, thanks for the input...you didn't get into any trouble with ME I love looking at a trend graph for my weight, too....I have one in Excel...I'm an Excel geek! My excel sheet also tracks BMI (which I HATE looking at) and the way I have it set up and I can enter what rung I'm on for the week. I looked ahead at rungs...assuming I did one rung per week or one rung every two weeks...if I start one per week starting now, I could be on the spirits rung by my Vegas trip! Hmmmmmm Probably the wrong motivation, right? hahahaha

| Quick check in. Today is Day 14 of my 2 week induction. I've lost about 7 lbs. Even if I have a woosh tonight, I think that puts me at average metabolic resistance. I'm not bored with my induction menu, and I'm thinking I should continue on extended induction. My instinct is to go another 2 weeks and then see where I am. Anyone have any advice for me?

SO....I'm on plan. That's all good. Still working on the water intake though. I can't go to the bathroom 20 times per day because it's taking me way too long to get the pants up and down without the use of the injured multi-colored thumb!! Can't even button pants. I'm learning to lock and unlock my deadbolt with the opposite hand and I swear I've bent the key! My unlucky son is gonna have to hook the bra for me. It's so wonderful... No idea what I weigh and I'm lovin the weigh, no way! challenge. Of course, I'll admit my son hid the scale BUT it's nice to not obsess!! I feel like my body is shrinking. My jeans are getting really loose. I like that I'm paying so much more attention to my body and not the little monster on the floor!! I haven't decided if I'll weigh this weekend or not. I'm enjoying this little game of not doing it. All depends on how I feel. |

| Everlosing needs to learn my copyrighted bra installation method that involves hooking in the front and twisting it around. Fewer thumbs required For some reason I was born without the ability to hook in the back. Seriously. I've worn bras since the 6th grade...could never do the hook in the back job. Hope you heal soon!
