| Happy Monday STAC'ers ![]() I feel good today. My back is sore but I slept pretty good and my husband had to wake me up at 6:30 am (I usually wake up on my own by 6 am). The sun is shining and my house is clean Induction is going well- yesterday was great. Being prepared makes a huge difference. Meal planning and having on hand legals is very important. Today is my exercise day for the 6WEC. I will go to the gym and sweat today no excuses. TJ- awesome news about quiting smoking. Have fun with the "new" car.Slap- I had a similar problem last night. My daughter made choc chip cookies for her BF and they were so tempting. I made her take them down stairs out of sight out of mind. MrsDavis- I am sorry Life sucks sometimes. Julie |

| Morning all! I'm feeling 85% better from my over-weekend cold. Man...was that annoying. We finally had some gorgous weather on a weekend and I was stuck in bed. My scale is back down at 285.8 this morning...but right now I can only attribute that to the fact that I have zero water retention after laying in bed all weekend. My gams look GREAT though...so I wore a dress to work today. Being sick really makes you struggel with comfort food cravings. I tell ya...friday night as I was driving home from work sick as a dog, I was plotting a horrific binge in my head...I had it all figured out. If I would have stopped at the grocery store, it woulda been all over for me. But instead...I drove home. I'm not gonna lie and say I made it through with flying colors...I did end up eating something off plan, but it's not NEAR as bad as what I could have done. I ended up eating 2 hard taco shells. Coulda been worse. I believe I ate approximately 50g of carbs in those two shells. That's as bad as it got though, through the whole weekend. I didn't run out and buy the donuts I actually wanted. Last night I made a recipe I found on another low carb message board for "crack slaw"....I mean, it was all right...but I wouldn't call it addictive by any means. I have the leftovers from that here with me for lunch today. Breakfast was celery and cream cheese. I have bacon with me for mid-day snacks. Dinner tonight...well last night I was at the grocery store picking up cabage and green onions for my crack slaw and spotted tonights dinner in the meat case. It's a chicken breast with 3 asparagus spears and cheddar cheese stuffed inside. I guess I just have to bake it for 30 minutes. Can't get more atkins friendly than that...so that's tonights dinner. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again. |

| Morning everyone, Well... after my fall this last weekend I'm here with bells on! You'll noticed in my siggy that I've lost my cheat-free status Had a great on-plan dinner last night with left-overs that I'm eating today (breaky & lunch). Dinner will be a ham & cheese omlette. Becki = glad to hear you're feeling better... and glad to hear that you've avoided the donnuts!! Julia = enjoy your workout! Mrs. Davis = sad news, but lots to look forward to in the future if you stay on plan! You can do it!! TJ & Ev = I'm so happy to hear that you're quiting smoking!! My Mom was a big smoker and passed away too early due to emphysema/COPD complications. Don't let it happen to you, especially since you're both working so hard to be healthy!! | Checking in. I don't think I've written a thing since Easter. I attempted to do a no weigh week and when I got back on I found I'd put on 2-3 lbs. I've held steady at that for the past week. So now I know I'm one of those rare people that needs to weigh in every morning to keep on track. I have not cheated, so I'm not sure why I've had the bounce. Possibly I've had some carb creep as probably I got a little lax in my carb counting. I'm starting to record everything I eat again on Fitday to see where I am. Refocusing on my water consumption and I'm adding a dialy fiber supplement, in case this is just a major constipation problem. It's so hard to stay focused when the scale's not moving. But I'm going to do it! Hope Monday has been good to everyone.
