| John, I know I can feel like that at times...so I hear ya. I think today you got some interaction Now...keep checking in...I personally like reading what everyone is up to. Guess I'm just nosey! :P Hope everyone has a great LC weekend! I plan on doing some great work at the gym as I have no life anyway! Might as well spend my time working out!

Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again. |

| I will try to be checking in each day, even if a short note to say I am here. It was just one of those days, I know often people would post a lot here and I have not replied to them. Nothing personal, I just didn't. So I will try to also be more aware of others issues. On a side happy note, I saw the recipe for pumpkin on here and that will really help my veggie intake as I really do not like most. |

| Hey everyone, Just checking in. Doing great today, so happy it is Friday. I am looking forward to this weekend. It is much needed. I am veryy happy on atkins. I think this is my 5th day of induction and I am feeeling pretty good. I have not gotten on the scale yet. I would rather measure my progress in how I feel. My jeans feel a little loose and I feel like I have lots of energy. I was looking at some of my pictures from 2 years ago...and I can't wait to look like that again!!!! I am excited I am on the right path. Yesterday I had Breakfast - Chicken Breast - with Cheese Lunch - Carls Jr 6 Dollar Burger (low carb style wrapped in lettuce) with no ketchup and tomato - Dinner - Some more chicken with cheese Can you tell I like chicken? |

| I'm back for my afternoon check-in... Hi everyone! Julie - I'm so hopefull that the biopsy results come back showing the tumors are benign! I think you said your dog was young(ish)... is the breed prone to cancer? Our pup Simon is getting old - he's 12 and really slowing down. We love him so much; even a death brought on by old-age would make us enormously sad. Knowing how we feel about our dog, and knowing that you have several dogs that you dedicate a lot of love and time to, I think I can understand how you feel about this current issue. Fingers crossed it's nothing!! In the mean time, sounds like you're doing well with your renewed induction! Becki - I'm just like you, I think... I like to prattle (or, as you put it, blather ) and I like to read about how others are doing. I also like to respond like I'm doing now - and I can see that you do, too (and I for one apprecaite it!!). It's this kind of dialogue - a little back and forth banter - that I really like... and it's what makes me wanting to come back to roll-call. The dialogue doesn't have to be about me or directed to me... it just has to be genuine. Of course a call out like "hey Vic! Sorry you fell off the wagon this weekend, but I know you'll get back on!!" directed my way is always welcome! There are a good number of STAC members who use roll call this way and I think it's great (Julie, TJ, Ever, Kelly to name a few)!!For me... I don't want to start a thread and talk about a specific thing. I don't want things dragged out. I don't want someone telling me what to do when I feel pretty darnned confident that I know how to work this Plan for me and my lifestyle. So... roll-call is almost perfect... with dialogue and banter it IS perfect. That's all I'm saying... Sirglock... yes, I can tell you like chicken!! ![]() And John... we've got your back! Vickie P.S. I almost forgot!! Becki = congrats on the consistent, lower scale number!! You're making this happen, even if it is slower then before. You rock!!

| Checking in on this wonderful sunny Friday! I think I can safely say that Spring has finally arrived in my neck of the woods. Doing well~~day 5 cheat free after my trip to Cape Cod. I would suggest to people to think about starting a journal in Journal Chats. It is a great place to keep track of your progress, write out the feelings~the good & the bad, a great place for your ADBB friends to keep in touch with you etc... Have a wonderful evening!
