| When I was younger and much dumber , I also got the same kind of burn but I was REALLY stupid! I went to a tanning bed. I had forgotten about my meds!! My ENTIRE body was burned severely. I used aloe vera straight from the plant. A little trick I learned when I lived in Asia...when I burned at the beach, we would come home and steep a tea bag in water (NOT HOT) until it was saturated and then rub the tea bag all over our skin in the shower. You don't have to rinse it off, think it's more effective if you don't. The next day we would usually tan instead of burn. I don't know the science behind it, but it worked! I was 12 and didn't care why it worked! A spray called Dermaplast (I believe) is extremely effective at numbing. Check to be sure you can use it on sunburn but my doc sent me home with it after giving birth to a near 14 lb baby. As you can imagine, I had a lot of damage that needed to be numbed down there to prevent my suicide!!! LOL!! I would think it's safe for sunburn if it's safe for episotomies! Hope something here helps you! Get to Walgreen or WalMart and get some relief!! |

| Chalk up another use for Noxzema. The sunburn will not feel as tight or hot after applying Noxzema to the skin. It's what I use and it will certainly help cool the burn and moisturize your skin at the same time.

| If you have a health food store near by go and get some lavender...mix with a little coconut oil or olive oil .... using aloe vera is really good too. I just got really burnt on my back last Sunday and used straight lavender (soaked cotton balls)...its been a week and zero peel...turned into a tan. But you do have to make sure you dont have a reaction to it! And man o man, that much of it is really STRONG smelling! But its extremely soothing...immediatly.
