Default Would like to do a type of cleansing before restarting

I was thinking it would be great to perhaps fast for a couple days, do some form of detox or something - I am ready to restart this WOE but need something to represent the beginning I guess. Do you guys suggest I just start or do a type of detox? I am not pigging out now I am just not on any form of organized eating.....

appreciate the advice

I usually start ramping up my water intake prior to re re re induction. I've had plenty of practice. It gets you in the habit of having water with you all the time. I also pre cook meals before I start to take away reasons for failure. Hope this helps.

In addition to stocking your home with Atkins goodies and ramping up the water, I would kind of just start. Don't worry about a "detox" pre-diet, because I find Atkins is a detox in itself. Best of luck!

My husband and I did a detox diet and it was so amazing. We followed the The Fast Track One-Day Detox Diet its a book with a 10 day diet and a one day fast (you drink a special drink during the fast day). We followed the eating plan but didn't buy any supplements.

I have done Atkins on and off forever, but this diet was like nothing I've ever done before. It was really interesting to see how my tastes changed. Hubby and I eat at Red Robin a lot and I loved their strawberry lemonade until I did that detox diet. I ordered one the 11th day and the drink tasted like pure sugar syrup. I lost a few pounds on the diet, but it wasn't about weightloss for me, it was about seeing if I'd really feel healthier after the 10 days. If I were going to do a detox again, I'd definitely follow that diet plan. It just made sense to me.
