| Good morning Starr - excellent job staying on plan. I am also doing great. I have no desire at all today to cheat because I am feeling so good. I am having a party at my house and have prepared a lot of legal foods. Also, I have weighed in checked ketosis and all is tracking. Yesterday, I accidentally (?) had some honey mustard on a goat cheese salad I ordered at a restaurant. Sigh - I ate it anyway. I drank a lot of water and was strict the rest of the day. The dressing was very, very, very light, as it is done here in Holland, so I am not beating myself up. I was watching my keto stix though. Have a great week-end everybody!

| On plan... counting day two as I screwed up on Thursday. Woke up from a dream in which I was eating the best steak I ever had on a cruise ship surrounded by decadent food. Must have been hungry in my sleep. lol. Ate Coliflower chopped up really fine with egg and cheese mixed with it fried in butter for breakfast. Kind of like hash browns. Son's birthday today.... the one who is at boot camp. missing him. off to work. Have a great Atkins' day. liz |

| Good afternoon STACers! I have successfully completed a two week induction having only one setback or cheat. I cannot boast that it was a fully clean induction because right in the middle of my 14 days, last Saturday I caved and had pizza for dinner. It was good, but I suffered for it in more ways than one. I ended up with a terrible belly ache and general blah feeling the rest of the night. And had a 3 lbs jump in the scale which held steady for 4 days. I am proud that that was my only setback as I have been squeeky clean all other days than that one. It took my husband encouraging me and reminding me why I was doing this and how well I had been doing to realize that I have such a renewed sense of confidence this time around, why give up so easily. I thought I would break the 10 lb mark in these two weeks but alas, I am to report a loss of 9.8 lbs. It is still a good loss. I am not dissatisfied with it being that I am the one who screwed up in the first place with the pizza. And, I am hope that my next two weeks will bring close to another 10 lbs. My family reunion is in exactly two weeks from today and it would be wonderful to have shed around 20 lbs in time for it. I have been diligent in my water consumption with only a rare diet soda as a treat. Being that I am trying to break my sweet tooth, too much soda makes me continue to crave sweets so I want to avoid them. I am continuing induction until I feel bored with my choices. As of now I am doing great and feel great. I don't feel the need to move on just yet. Hope everyone else is doing wonderfully.
