Default Back again...again

On November 1, 2005 I started Atkins for the very first time. I successfully completed all stages, and within seven months lost 71lbs. I had (have) been struggling with my weight my entire life, and never found anything even close that lead to such success! I felt healthy, happy, and full (very important), and the pounds just kept melting off like butter.
A year and a half after my weight loss, I started straying from the "plan" here and there. I had gained about 15lbs back, but justified the gain to myself by saying "well at least I'm still less than 200!".
I ended up pregnant with my third son (total surprise), and made a mountain of unhealthy choices. My son is now two, and I'm as heavy as I ever was. I have since tried a few minimal attempts, but gave up easily because I wasn't ready to commit to the lifestyle. But, I'm ready NOW
Since today is the anniversary date of my first (successful) time, I've decided mentally that if I stuck to the program, I would find success once again. If anyone is willing to be my buddy, and offer mutual support, it would be greatly appreciated.
I know I can do this (I have before), but everything is always better with a friend!!
PS. First day of induction is a challenge (especially with all of the candy laying around..but proud to say that I'm "cheat free" and on the road to success.."

Welcome back KD4. I understand what you are saying. I lost 65 and hovered for the past four years. Up 15 down 15 up 20 down 15 down 5 up 15...

Just didn't have my head in it to push this WOE and get to oneder-land. So I have been hovering, halfway to goal. If you aren't in it to commit it just never gels. But like you I am back this year and focused again and I can tell you it will work all over again. Maybe not as quickly, maybe with some new trigger foods, but it will work! Welcome back to the WOE!

Welcome back! The great thing about this BB, is that they always seem happy to have me back.. at least, that's my perception.

Thank you all for your comments. Itty Bitty, I'd love to have a buddy that has similar weight loss goals to mine. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a computer illiterate. Tell me how to connect with you
Thanks again...so far, day two is going great!!!

My story is very similar to yours. I lost 70 pounds 4 years ago on atkins and was amazed how it did just seem to melt away. I never had a week where I didn't lose at least 2 pounds and most weeks were more. I gained it all back and am here...again. I started again in September and was doing really well and...well I actually don't even remember what threw me off that time. I started induction November 5 mainly because I just kept looking at all that candy in 3 big bags from trick or treating and knew it was sink or swim so I'm swimming. I get weighed tomorrow and am very anxious to see how I did.
