Yes.

Are you reading Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002) so that you know what's acceptable and how Atkins works?
i thought there was no need, i was going by some of the basic rules that gave me success last time.

Did you actually read Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002)?

There is a difference between what Dr. Atkins advised and what ANI sells today.

You can check exactly how many carbs cream has in the USDA database.

Success is not only losing weight, but maintaining your loss. And you need the book to be successful.

Since you don't have the book, I should tell you that bars were meant to be emergency foods. Not snacks eaten because you are too lazy to prepare proper food or lack the discipline to plan your meals or just want something to satisfy your sweet tooth.

I read some internet summaries - created a diet, and lost over 100 lbs within a year or less - maintained it for a few years. the only reason i gained it back was constant depression triggered by traumatic events and then medications that affected metabolism, made me much hungrier, and lazy.

I will endeavor to read it now however.

thanks for the link!

they were "meant" to be this? They certainly aren't advertised as such. No surprise there however.

No reason to swear!

Lots of people "endeavor" or "try" ... and they never get around to actually "doing".

if you knew my history, I am already "doing" and have "done" in the past.

i see this definition:

"2 : to attempt (as the fulfillment of an obligation) by exertion of effort <endeavors to finish the race>"

as the one i meant. I thought it was stronger than try, but well met, I understand.

What really helped me through this last time was support and continued exhortation. Seems folks here are a bit tougher.

and i didnt realize "damn" was really swearing... heh sorry. Ill make my speech below G rating from now on.
