  • Century Club Christmas Card Exchange Thread

It is November, and you know what time it is. SoftnRed started the first great thread, but it is now time to sign up with addresses. I will be collecting the addresses this year via pm for those that don't want to post their address on the 'Net. I know last year was a big success, and I think this year will be again too. I personally enjoyed the expectation of going to the mailbox and seeing whose card would arrive today and from where.

If you are interested in participating in exchanging Christmas cards with the other Century Club members, please post or send me your Name and Address information by November 21, 2005. Only members with posts will be able to participate. (No unregistered Board guests will be allowed on the list in other words.) The list will not be used for any other reason or given out to anybody else than participants of the card exchange. The final list will be sent out by Thanksgiving.

That all said count me in.

Update: It has been proposed by BabyDreamer (and I agree it's a great idea) that as an option those participating could include their best low carb recipe with their card.

      I'm in Kent!!
Sending you my address in a pm.

Thanks for taking this on, Kent

It was great fun getting so many overseas cards last year

      Edited to add:
Actually I am not in Kent (should have written 'I'm in, Kent') but my mother does live there still! and tomorrow I will be in Kent visiting her!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

        Kent,

I am in no rush or anything as I want as many names as possible, but I was wondering when you try to get the list out and how many people (an estimate) were on the list last year? I want to get a start on buying my cards!

Re: Century Club Christmas Card Exchange Thread

I'd love to join in, but I'm not sure if 21 November's going to be soon enough for me. Australia Post is S L O W ! Wet weeks are MUCH faster.

If there are any other Aussie Atkineers on here (I'm sure there are a few lurking in the bushes and behind the posts) perhaps we could send private emails to each other and exchange addresses for cards? Or I'd be willing to coordinate it (with the OK of the moderaters, of course). After all, we've all got at least ONE thing in common.

Can't wait. I was so proud of all my Atkineer friends last year. Everyday getting a card from one of you kept my holidays brighter than they had been in ages. I had a special wall right by my KITCHEN TABLE (yep, can't think about cheating with all of you hanging around my table). lolol

You guys will be there again this season celebrating the holidays and our new healthier lives we've managed to acquire together.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself and let y'all know that I'm actually real. I just joined the bulletin board recently, and thought I'd say hi. I'm the guy that JoAnne (soft_n_red) has been talking about for so long. I'll be posting more in the coming weeks.
