Some comments on another thread made me wonder about this.
What were the most ridiculous assumptions/misconceptions you have heard about the Atkins diet?
A woman in line at the salad bar overhearing my talking to my diet buddy about OWL rungs in Atkins announced huffily (is that a word?) that she would never consider Atkins and was instead doing Weight Watchers because it just wasn't healthy to be so unbalanced. (Betcha she's a lot hungrier than I am)

i then told her what i eat on a regular basis...all whole foods like eggs,chicken,steak & LOTS of veggies,no proccessed icky sugar filled stuff, real bad for you hu? She just sat there with nothing to say. NO ONE can argue thats bad for you.
