I haven't had an opportunity to do my Si6 today, so I'll call today my Si6 day off and do it tomorrow instead. I did, however, get my Callanetics in.

Yeah! Get those pics taken, cruiser! As for the pushups, what about doing them with your hands on the kitchen table or counter or even the wall instead of on the floor? It'll take huge amounts of the strain off but still allow you to slowly strengthen those muscle groups.

Looks like they're both getting equal play.

I figured if we leave the challenge thread there and keep it alive for weekly stats updates, then potential new challenge members can see how we're doing without us scaring in the bejeebers out of them. heh heh

If you all find it easier to just post in the challenge thread, then that's what we'll do! Doesn't make no nevermind to me!

I've been doing Start It Up and today did Ramp It Up for the first time...OH MY GOD!!! That is the hardest I've worked out in a looooooong time (possibly my entire life)! I'm very glad that my 8 year old son is sleeping...I said some not so nice things to the screen!

I had to do some modified moves, but I kept going. I actually surprised myself! What will be even more amazing is when I do this again tomorrow!

                  Good mornign ladies,

Does anyone elses neck get stiff and kind of sore after the workout. I try to not throw my neck into the crunches but I always strain it a bit too much. Another part I have trouble with is the row part where you are workign with weights and getting into your back, I always stiffen up. I feel it happening and actually roll my head from side to side during the workout to prevent it. I'm wondering if anyone else had this same issue, I think my neck is weak to begin with so I have to be extra careful I dont' screw myself up big time.

Well I'm off to do Ramp it UP. I woke up brushed my teeth put on workout stuff, came to check on you wonderful people, and excercise. I love getting it out of the way first thing in the a.m.

Hey Krystle - don't think about it too much sweety. Just pop it in and go with it, I know you'll do fantastic! Can't wait to hear from you soon. Also if you want to punch her from looking at the box I can't wait to hear what you want to do to her after the workout, lol, have fun.

                        Hi Yoly,

Are you keeping your head up when doing the rows?
You might be tensing too much during that type of exercise, try to keep you head down instead of facing looking at the tv screen, it takes some of the tension off of your neck/shoulder muscles.

If that doesn't help, you might want to go down in weight for your hand weights for a little while.

About the crunches, concentrate on pushing you face up to the ceiling (up movement, instead of going toward you knees/feet. Also, if you haven't tried it, move your hands/arms to across your chest instead of behind your head.

And YES, I'm always sore after the workouts! They're good ones! Let's see I was saying owwwwww because my butt check was cramping!

oh yeah- I think that is the hardest part... when you first get down in the floor and are lifting your legs... My goodness~!! My butt hurts so much every time!!! I always say ooooooouuuuchhhhh!

                            Goood morning Vidiots!

Yoly, I'm going to echo Shelly's recommendations to you! Keep your head down during the bent rows if you're tensing your neck during them, and I think rolling your neck side to side is a great tension breaker too!

qbu- WOOHOOO!!! I can't wait to hear how day 2 goes for you! It's a tough workout. Join the whining ranks! LOL!

speedy- Ooooooooopen it! Dooooooo it!! Start It Up is callllling youuuu!

I've got about another 10 minutes for my tummy to settle (protein shake) and then I'm going to go knock out RIU!

***Tip for those who are a bit farther along in the program: To make those hamstring curls a bit more intense - try adjusting the position of your foot. I find that if I point my toe I can really concentrate into my hamstrings much harder.******
