  • Sign up for 6 Week Exercise Challenge #23 here!

    We've started into the last week of 6WEC#23 so it's time to get ready for the next challenge.

    6WEC#23 begins on Sunday, December 18th and runs through Saturday, January 28th.

    Sign up!
    #1. Tell us how many days a week you plan to exercise.
    #2. Make a note of your beginning measurements. You do not have to post them here if you aren't comfortable doing that. Just be sure to write them down someplace safe to compare with your measurements at the end of the challenge. Click here for a picture that shows you where to measure.

    -Under arms, around chest
    -Fullest part of chest
    -Ribcage
    -Waist
    -Hips
    -Upper arm x 2
    -Thigh x 2
    -Weight

    Don't forget to check in!
    #1. Look for the thread each day in this forum. It will be titled something like "6WEC#23, Week 1, Sun, Nov 18."
    #2. Tell us whether you exercised, took a rest day or a sick day, or slugged it.

    *If you do not check in for 14 days in a row you will be sent a PM on this board. If i don't hear from you within a week you will be removed from the chart.

    Win something!
    #1. The 3 who lose the most will earn a ribbon. Its determined first by inches and then by pounds.
    #2. Those who complete all 6 weeks of the challenge without getting slugged will earn a slug free button. Sick days do not count as slugs.

      I'm in again! I'll commit to 4 days a week, 2 miles on the Gazelle, and my measurements will continue to be posted every saturday in my journal under Journey Stats Thread.

        I'll commit to 5 days/wk with a 6th day when I can squeeze it in. Measurements to follow.

          I'm in... 6 days a week...not sure of the type yet... definately tae bo and Hopefully a Heck of a lot of skiing (comes free with my new job as a lift attendant). Skiing is good for ya right?LOL

                  i am in ,i am in,i commit to 5 days a week mostly outdoor brisk walk/jogging on treadmill too
                  plus so aerobic exercise for my arms,i commit for like200/300 minutes a week,
                  hopefully!!fingers crossed!!!

                              Morning,

                              I want to commit to do WEIGHTS. I signed up for the TMC and even though I want to count the same minutes for both, I'm know thinking that is cheating, just a bit.

                              So for the 6WC, I commit to getting out the weights and doing atleast my 3 sets of 12 for 3 days a week.
