    Re: What's For Dinner Tonight?

    great pics barb!
I make my cauliflower the same way, I just use a cookie sheet instead of a glass tray its one of my favorites.... too bad about the portion control, I dont think I've ever been able to abide by the carb count, I keep sneaking in another one.... they're so good!!

              Re: What's For Dinner Tonight?

Once you move to OWL you can have one cup plus 5 net carbs of it!!

Another reason for not staying on induction too long
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

                      Re: What's For Dinner Tonight?

oh, I DONT like cauliflower! I've never liked it ever, even the smell turned me off.

and then someone made it roasted for me, and I agreed to try it, and I was hooked! I dont like it any other way except roasted, but when i do make it, you just cant keep me away from it!

Sate of Pork - I'm too lazy to thread it on skewers, so I just injected a pork loin roast with the marinade and will grill. If it's good, I'll post the link. It smells great!

                        Sauteed asparagus

                        Small Caesar salad

MMM is WAS good! My husband loved it. Really tender. I smoked it in my Weber kettle using apple chips in the fire. Here's the link. Make the marinade just like it says, but inject it into your roast. Nutrition information is included in the link.

Eggs baked in tomatoes: hollow out a tomato, crack a raw egg into the hollow. Top with a teaspoon of heavy cream. Bake. I tossed some cheese on it too.

                              Tonight:

Chicken stew: into a crockpot toss, chicken parts, a puree of chopped onion and celery, salt, pepper, herbs, cubed turnip and daikon radish.
Warm veggie 'salad': steammed green beans, steammed asparagus, tossed with lemon juice, and olive oil.
