WELCOME TO OUR WORLD OF CLIMBING JESS!!!

          102 FLIGHTS ALREADY.
you only have to climb one building once. with 102 done, you can split it up anyway you like. most have started with the smallest building and are working upward. some go from country to country.
hospital flights might be a counted differently so check that. this challenge is based on 15 steps per flight. if the hospital flights have more you'll just have to calculate them a bit differently, no problem. your a smart lc cookie so you'll be able to figure that out.
so with 102 you have already climbed Milennium Dome, Sydney Opera House, and the Dlifton Suspension Bridge. you also got 20 flights towards Big Ben done. that's if you are doing smallest to largest. i'll wait to mark the sheet until you say how you want to count it all.

when you get all the building done, you get one of the awards. we have several to choose from.

Hi fellow climbers. Stopped by to call you within tower range (?) on Mt. Killya... I'm a little past the 1/4 way mark station, at 700 flights, and gathered gear for the next leg of the climb.

Let's see... helium tank... balloons.... just kidding. Now that the ankle's rested up pretty good, I think I can pick up the pace without those.

jess, did you decide how to break up those filghts so i know which buildings to mark finished for you?
                  milennimu dome was 21 flights
                  sydney opera house is 28
                  clifton suspension bridge is 33
                  big ben at 42
                  those total 124
which means you have 12 to the credit on foruth rail bridge, according to you siggy of 136 flights.

is that how you want it all marked on my sheet?

btw, GREAT CLIMBING AND USE OF TIME!

LOL! My fitness centre bought a couple of stair-climbing maschines. You know, not the stairmasters, more like the stairs you find in old-fashioned amusement parks, where the stairs are moving - except here of course you have to make them move yourself. But that is a good way to get some stairs in.

I did another 20 yestersay and 20 today, and updated my signature.

And Jesse! I am sorry to hear about your mom. Hope she will recover fine. Welcome to this part of the boards, which is really a nice and friendly part.

I've finished two more buildings, I'm on the 7th one on the list in the guide. I work for Nautilus (which include StairMaster) and luckily for me we have 5 step mills and 4 steppers in the workout room to use. I prefer the mills, that's the kind where the steps just keep coming. Just like going up the down escalator in the mall.

WHAT'S THIS I SEE??? ANOTHER CLIMBER HAS BEEN HERE BEFORE ME! I SEE THE CANADIAN FLAG AT THE SUMMIT OF KILIMANJARO! ah, yes, our own sadiejen has been here and planted her country's flag. i plant the U.S. flag proundly besides hers.

i set out at the beginnig of the week to summit MT. KILIMANJARO. 743 flights needed to be climbed. my personal challenge and my pledge was to finish this mountain by saturday, march 24 and I HAVE DONE IT!!!
i found this quote on a website:

"Kilimanjaro, the Everyman's Everest, is a seemingly easy climb"
                            my quote: 'YEAH RIGHT"

i begine my quest up mt. everest, next week.
