Congrats, Liz!!! A lot of sweat went into that bronze metal, so why shouldn't it be told to the world?

Sweet is right, those are some beautiful quilts (and the dog is cute, too!).

Thanks for the comps everyone on my quilts... they take so long to make I'd be poor if I did something like that for a living... probably would make less than $.50/hr... but it's the process... gotta love the process... creating... yada yada yada...

I don't sell my quilts... just want to fill my home with warmth and love... and make it cozy! It's a really theraputic outlet/hobby for me too... really gets my mind off work and onto possitive and creative thoughts... that's all it is for me. So I get my reward that way. I'm a beginner too... there are some crazy good quilters that pop them out in a day... start to finish. Not me... too obsessive compulsive perfectionist for that... I've only finished 4 this year, and have 3 yet unfinished... started a 4th yesterday that's got a patriotic theme...

Mia was quite confused by the whole experience and refused adamantly to look at the camera and smile... I can also say she did not like sitting on stairs either! Impatient little thing she is!
But what I really want to say is.... Whoo hoo for you Caryl! You did it too!
