  • LadyHawke's BB of Inspiration

This is my bulletin board of inspiration. I have it on my kitchen cabinet so I can look at it when I re fill my water bottle or do dishes or need some inspiration.
Dream suggested I might share it in hopes of inspiring you guys to make a BB. Then maybe share it with us! If it helps inspire one person, keep someone from cheating or just bring a smile - its done what its there for!

The top picture to the left is Terri Clark - she is a country western singer and I think she is beautiful. Next is me in Mexico at approx 200 pounds (once I reach that weight, I'll put a different picture up)...then the lower left is the eiffel tower - where I am going when I reach goal - next is an ad I found in a magazine - It says "don't think - shoot" and I am, I'm shooting for the moon! The guy in the ad - hmmmm think I'll meet him in Paris

                  great idea, I love it!

I was just thinking of maybe doing something like that today. I have all my exercise equipment in my basement and other then one small window, I basically stare at a blank cement wall when I'm on the treadmill. I was thinking about putting a poster up or something but didn't know what. I think I'll work on a collage this weekend and cover that wall up with some inspirational pictures. Unfortunately I don't really have any good "skinny" pics but I'll figure something out. Thanks for the idea! I will post some pics when I finish it

You don't need a skinny picture of yourself, just look in magazines or such for a picture of someone about your height/build and the weight your aiming for. Advice: stay away from the high fashion mags, nobody should be 5'10 and 80 lbs.

                              Re: LadyHawke's BB of Inspiration

Oh my, I am moved to tears. About six years ago, I made a board like this and hung it in my dressing room between the bath and bedroom. I happened to have been on Atkins then, the first time, when I didn't even know it was Atkins. I learned that trick in management training years ago. It helped me tremendously, because I had really gotten down on myself for gaining weight.

My self esteem is pretty good these days, but I sure could use the hope and inspiration that a board like that can give me.

Thank You so much Lady Hawke. Already as I have been reading your posts on here the last few weeks, you have inspired me, but now you have really touched my heart. Thanks Sista
