I too am following this thread assiduously. It consistently has me drooling! Have also printed out most of the recipes. Hard to try them out here in the islands (pretty basic cooking facilities here) but look forward to a veritable cookfest after I get home. Love the sound of the toffee!
Lori, what kind of consistency does the wine cream end up as? Jelly-like wobbly or creamy? I too make jelly from sheets of gelatine and it works well.

Sally, it's creamy. The first day it's like whipped cream and the second day a little more solid. And the toffee is a completely different story, it's sooo good. When I was a child there used to be something around called Caramac - it tastes exactly like it, it's only a little softer, because there is no inferiour fat in it to harden it.

Default Recipe Advent Calendar 9th of December - "Couscous" Salad

Sometimes I would like a "normal" salad if we have fish or BBQed meat. So cauliflower to the rescue!

    1 pound cauliflour
    1 bell bepper
    2 salad onions
3 TB Ajvar (that's a paprika sauce you will find in a Polish shop)
    4 TB lemon juice
    pepper, salt

Rice the raw cauliflower, dice the rest of the veggies and mix all of it together. Let sit for at least 2 hours better over night.

Thanks for that toffee recipe, Lori! If I can find Erithrytol (spelling?) around I'll be trying it for sure.

I just came here to ask the same thing. I've never seen erythritol or swerve. Is it just at the regular supermarket?

I have seen erythritol at Sprouts and I think I saw it at the Vitamin Shoppe.
