    Default Weight training question from a newbie to Atkins

    Hey everyone

    I am new to Atkins and just started Phase 1. My question is about weight training while on Atkins. When I go lifting I have whey protein before and after my workout. Is there a particular workout protein supplement everyone uses? I use MusclePharm which has 5 carbs per scoop. Not sure if there is a better one that could be used for Atkins

    being new to atkins and phase 1, which is induction, as per the book, you wouldn't be using whey protein at all. if you are using it before AND after and you are using 1 scoop each time, that would be 10 net carbs of the allowed 20 per induction. we already know that most of your net carbs should come from veggies so you may need to do some adjustments.
