    Default Braised Chicken and Artochoke And Lemon

    Induction Friendly with the below substitution. From Every Day Food

    Substitution

    Use one of the legal root vegetables like celery root for the artichokes OR use peeled broccoli/ cauliflower stems.
    Also skip the flour. if you want to thicken the sauce, remove the chicken and veg, then boil the liquid until it's reduced to nearly 1/2.

    Nice one Megs. Pity artichokes are so high in carbs...nice to squeeze just a very few in though (at appropriate OWL rung, of course).

    It sounds good, Megs! I will try it with the cauliflower instead of artichokes because hubby doesn't like them. I need some new chicken dishes and this sounds like a good one. Thanks for sharing.
