I went to a party yesterday where a friend brought along several types of cheeses that he had smoked and they were delicious. What all are you planning to smoke...besides ribs?

Congratulations!! You're speaking my husband's language! He LOVES smoking food in our pellet smoker/grill. He's smoked just about everything...even cheese. I'm not a huge fan of smoked foods. His next goal is to do a tri-tip. Now that I will eat!

    Enjoy your new tool!

It's more of a flat type of a beef roast, almost like a prime rib roast but without the bone. When it's smoked low and slow, it has an AMAZING taste and very tender.

I have an electric smoker. It uses wood chips for the smoke. I've done ribs, but I want to try fish, chicken, and beef (brisket). I bought a cookbook all on smoking food, so I'll be busy this summer.

Also, my cousin has apple trees, so I have a supply of apple wood for my smoker!
