    Tuesday and Wednesday (this morning) lugged in another two big bags from the woods, so am on track so far. Hot work.

    2/2 done


    both days i used my 6.6 pound weights

    Sally a picture would be good, I'd love to see your compost heap....people don't seem to have them here! And it reminds me of back home (haven't lived in UK for over 35 years so it isn't really home!!!!).....I used to love walking passed the allotments, so interesting to see different people's expression of gardening.

    Like you vitcy, I haven't lived in the UK for many many years... I think more or less the same number as you. When I go back for a visit, I feel like a 'foreigner, but not quite' if you know what I mean!
    I have this pile of wood leaves and earth, which will sometime make one of the layers of a Back to Eden type of veggie plot (if I can ever get it together!) and then another enclosed double pile for grass cuttings etc. I plan on mixing the two together when the time comes and hope it'll be enough. I need to cover about 60 square metres. Been collecting for about six weeks, I think, but at a bag a day it's slow going.
