    A NEW WEEK BEGINS AND WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOME NEW FACES JOINING US!
    Pick Your Own One Week Challenge
    Week of August 13, 2017.
    This challenge is all about exercise, doing something you like, something new, something challenging that maybe you aren't doing in another challenge.
    Some Challengers might take the week off, some new Challengers might appear {we would always welcome new challengers}. Previous Challengers will return. It's all good So, what kind of challenge do you want? MIX IT UP! HAVE SOME FUN! Exercise doesn't have to be boring or dull.

    What a Challenger states as his/her challenge and goal for the week is what the award will be based on so it might be wise to not be too specific. There are no free passes for forgotten or missed days and yes, this means there are no bad weather days whether it be snow, extreme heat, hail, rain or howling winds. If you do mention specific days I will hold you to it. Make it a challenge but leave yourself some wiggle room for the unexpected
    .

    I'm in.

    I've been working with free weights, doing a lot of the exercises I used to do on my weight lifting machine, all upper body. My weak knee doesn't like the cellar steps so I'm doing 15 minutes of shortened routines 4 days a week now. And I'll also do 6 of the physical therapy exercises for my legs 3 times a week. Plus counter push-ups 4 days.

    Will miss this week as it is the Island's big summer holiday break - practically everything is shut...so our routines will be upset, but will try to keep 'planking' as I'm not wobbling as much & don't want to lose the stability that has been so hard earned!!

    I'm in with more wood mulch hauling, from the woods. Weather is a little cooler now, so will aim to collect 5 bags between Monday and Friday. The pile is growing and mulching down ok (I've been watering it though, to speed things up). Hope to get the woodchips in a couple of weeks, if the truck man is willing.
