Have had three great days in a row. less struggle to stay on track, probably because I am staying supremely busy

A couple more great days. January was sort of a fake it til you make it month. SOme days I just didn't live up to the rules. I am hoping the trend of this week sticks. I am getting into a very busy work season, and believe it or not--the less time I have the better I do. Fingers crossed. I am averaging 1700 - 1800 cals a day, and 25 - 30 gr carbs almost all from veggies. Staying clear of processed foods as well.

SCrewed u[p this week and had a diet ice cream bar. I just cannot eat any processed stuff. PLus the dairy slows things down. WOrking on water intake and breaking the evening eating habit. That is the biggest problem for me. I need to keep busy right up until bedtime. But soldiering on...

    Hi Jill!

I was looking for low carb/keto/atkins recipes on Google, and kept "rabbit trailing" towards Induction receipes, that lead me back to this website...and then I saw your latest posting and tought...man, the universe is really playing with me right now, or I'm meant to get back into digging my heels into Atkins. And then I read your posts, cried a little pity party, and pouted that I've been doing the same thing...struggling. I REALLY appreciate you sharing your journey right now!

I have 5 weeks left of my job and then we're moving to Floriday...it's a loooong story, but it's exciting too! I need to get out of my pity party and dig my heels down like you have!

    Cheers!

Well said Jill. This is at least my sixth start, the last time I lost 70 lbs in seven months while living in Ecuador. I have been back in the states three years now and put forty pounds back on. I started Atkins again on February 1st and lost 10.6 lbs in the first 21 days.

Keep posting, we all need encouragement
