Here's a site to help you find out the maximum and minimum amount of calories you need in a day.

    http://www.room42.com/nutrition/basal.shtml

Actually I put your information in and it says that you need to eat no less than 1342 calories a day in order to have safe consistent weight loss. (I kind of thought 1200 calories sounded a little low.) Please go put your information in yourself and read what it has to say though.

One thing to remember with Atkins is that we do not count our calories. Calories are important, and you don't want to go over what is recommended, but we are more interested in the ratio of fat/protein/carbs.
Have you read this yet? It will explain the ratios.

If you are following the Rules of Induction and eating correctly from the Acceptable foods list in Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short) then you'll be pretty much right on target. Eat when you are hungry, stop when you are satisfied and don't get too hung up on the calories. Fitday is an excellent tool and you're going to find it very helpful. It may take a week or two to figure out what you need to be eating more or less of, but hang in there and you're going to see some great results.

Since you are so active, you want to keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat...so the scale might not say you are losing much, but your body fat percentage may be going down and that's what's most important here, right?!

As always moochiecat gives great advice, you can also visit the review my menu forum to see other people's menus. I have one in there for first day induction. Good luck!

And do post in the 'Exercise' forum for support and advice about your routine if you need it

That looks an awesome amount of exercise to me - well done
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
