  • March Abs Challenge -- Report It All Here!

    This is the place! Report your abs work here, whether it be situps, crunches, leg lifts, anything you're doing that works that tummy! Don't forget, just give one count daily of all of those together in one lump sum! Let's see if we can't get a six pack out of this! (Or at least a one pack, just improvement period)

                  I signed up for 50 a day, though I'm hoping to go over my goal this time and do more. I hadn't done a situp in 15 years or so when the february challenge started. Making progress though! The 50 is still hard to do, I have to break it up into 2 sets of 25 each with a min in between, sometimes less.

                      Full situps! Talk about hard, those 50 were agony in the beginning. Made a lot of progress in February though! When they get easier, I'm going to do more, hopefully before too much longer!

                        Personally I only do crunches, I heard a few years ago, that you dont get that much more of a benefit on your abs doing full situps, and that crunches are enough.

                        But its obviously down to the individual.

                          I agree, I might try the crunches though, maybe my backside won't hurt so bad then! I think it's really up to each person too, this is about abs, so some will be doing other things that are good for your abs, and I might even throw in some of those as body ball situps, all abs workers are welcome here! I love seeing people doing different things, not so boring!

                              Okay, that and I'll admit it, I'm old and behind the times. When I was in school, situps was it as far as choices went in gym class! I love hearing good info about other things to try!
