Just wondering if any one had found any gems in UK stores? I know that one thing i found that would be good for OWL is Rowntrees Sugar free jellies! 0 carbs and only 9 calories per sachet! They are brilliant! Also pepperamis!

Watch out for those pepperamis though - glucose is high up in the ingredient list! Apparently Marks & Sparks do a great chorizo sausage with no sugars.....
Some of Boots new 'Shapers' drinks are sweetened with sucralose (Splenda) - the fizzy Raspberry/Cranberry one is yum!

    Happy lo-carbing!

I've tried those Shapers from Boots as well. They are ok but I can't help but taste nothing but diet as soon as I open one. It's kinda of like diet soda to me. I guess I'm just not going to get used to the sucralose instead of real sugar.

Picked up some strawberry tonight. Will have it tomorrow for a treat.

Sausages - maybe the local butchers might be worth a try??? I don't really eat a lot of sausages - but I am missing black pud. :grimble

        Good Luck Everyone!
        Peace~

If you have a Lidl near you, you can get frozen bradwurst. They are like a sausage and are delicious - and have no rusk in like English sausages (and only 0.5g per 100).

This is great info for me. I will be on vacation in UK in June and am glad that Boots etc are getting into the low carb thing.

Have found quite a few low-carb products starting to appear in Waitrose! Some are made with Sweet-n-Low (the mints are quite tasty) - they even have cookies (lemon and chocolate). They also sell all the Carbolite chocolates, plus a few other brands.
Benjys sandwich shops also sell Carbolite chocolate bars (5 for £5.00) - cheaper than Waitrose £1.29 per bar.
I also have success getting stuff from lowcarbmegastore dot com.
In addition to Breakfast bars, Boots are selling Atkins Mix and a couple of Atkins shakes as well.
For those Londoners reading this, a shop called Simply Sausages (there are two or three in London) make many types of sausages - and many of them are extremely high in meat content (95-98%), no sugar and no rusk! Worth it - they are delicious!
                  Happy hunting.

                      MATTESONS SMOKED SAUSAGE
is my personal favourite thing, I use it in omelettes for breakfast, chopped up in a salad for lunch and sliced on the diagonal and grilled for Dinner!!!

I also bought Keto Low carbohydrate pizaa base from Holland & Barrett. I made 2 pizzas (put one in the freezer) out of the tub and loaded it with a smidge of tomato pasta, mushrooms, onions and a few spears of asparagus and mozerella cheese. It was fabulous....

Even though they are free of carb, I personally would not recommend them for the first couple of weeks of Induction, as Induction is mainly there to retrain your taste buds and to take that sweet craving away.

                              UK Chewing Gum

Do any of you guys know which of the uk chewing gums are OK. Airwaves says it's sugar free and just has polyols - is this OK?

Also, have you tried the sweet'n'low dark chocolate? You can't tell the difference!
